Mild mannered husband and father to two beautiful girls. I've been making things for as long as I can remember and I've always had a knack for fixing the things I break. I never had a desire to work wood, but after watching a video on YouTube in 2010 on how to hand cut dovetails, I was inspired to give it a shot. I began to purchase books for study, racked up countless data charges watching woodwork related videos on my phone and began to make all kinds of mistakes.
After years of occasional, mediocre woodwork, I began to see some serious progress. 50% of the time, I could do the thing I wanted to do the first try! This was enough to start thinking about upgrading my tools and planning more complex builds. I invested a large chunk of my savings into outfitting my shop with some new tools and began to fill my shelves with wood.
I posted my first video to YouTube in October 2014 and haven't looked back. I'm overwhelmed by the love and support that can be found on YouTube and I have some new amazing friends all over the world because of it. If you're on the fence about putting your work on display, go for it!
